Oliver Burton is a 10-year-old boy who has been battling cancer for several years. For his dying wish, Burton, who has Down syndrome, wanted to have tea with Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately, the Queen was unavailable, but thankfully, Academy Award-winning actress Dame Helen Mirren stepped in to save the day.

In the days since the massive tornado leveled Moore, Oklahoma, celebrities have offered an outpouring of support to those affected. It was on the minds of “The Hangover Part III” stars as they walked the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere. Blake Shelton just announced he’s putting together a benefit concert for relief efforts. And yesterday Kevin Durant quietly donated $1 million to his local Red Cross.

Usually bands inspire the teenagers who come to their shows, but sometimes it works the other way around. Imagine Dragons met Tyler Robinson at one of their shows, and the band was so impressed with the young man’s struggle with cancer that they dedicated a song to him. Robinson passed away in March, but Imagine Dragons made sure they honored the teen’s memory by creating a foundation in his name.
